even chemistry and advanced mathematics are inadequate
it's some perverted version of a permanent stamp
the ink will run and fade but never disappear
and at its most ridiculous point it becomes tangible
as we would plant memories with our hands
and tomorrow i'll try to solve tonight quantitatively
forgetting reason and emotion
i'll discover new excuses and invent new equations
after it all tonight will be justified
